About Ipamorelin

Ipamorelin is a selective growth hormone secretagogue that stimulates GH release by mimicking ghrelin at the pituitary. What makes it stand out from older secretagogues like GHRP-6 or GHRP-2 is selectivity: it boosts growth hormone without significantly raising cortisol or prolactin.

Dosing is typically 100 to 300 mcg, injected subcutaneously once or twice daily. Most people take it before bed to coincide with the body's natural GH pulse during sleep.

It's one of the milder GH peptides in terms of side effects, which is why it's commonly used as a first GH secretagogue. The most common protocol pairs it with CJC-1295 (no DAC) for a synergistic effect on growth hormone output.

Onset and what to expect

Better sleep within the first week or two is the most commonly reported early effect. Recovery and general well-being improvements follow over weeks 2 to 4. Body composition changes take 2 to 3 months, similar to CJC-1295.

Because it's selective, the effects are subtler than GHRP-6 or GHRP-2. You won't get the intense hunger spikes those cause. Think of it as a gentle nudge to your GH production rather than a sledgehammer.

Side effects

Very mild side effect profile compared to other GH secretagogues. Occasional headache, lightheadedness, or injection site irritation. Water retention is possible but less pronounced than with CJC-1295 or HGH.

No significant cortisol or prolactin increase at normal doses, which is the main advantage over older alternatives. At very high doses, some people report tingling or numbness in hands, which signals GH levels are getting elevated.

Storage and reconstitution

Refrigerate after reconstitution at 36 to 46°F. Powder is stable at room temperature. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water and use within 28 days.

Ipamorelin is often sold pre-mixed with CJC-1295 in the same vial. If you have a combo vial, the reconstitution and storage guidelines are the same.
