GHRH Analog
CJC-1295
About CJC-1295
CJC-1295 is a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog that stimulates your pituitary to produce more growth hormone. It comes in two forms: with DAC (Drug Affinity Complex), which extends its half-life to about a week, and without DAC, which has a shorter duration.
The version without DAC is more commonly used in peptide protocols because it better preserves the natural pulsatile pattern of GH release. Typical dosing is 100 to 300 mcg daily, usually injected before bed.
It's frequently paired with Ipamorelin, a growth hormone secretagogue that works through a complementary pathway. Together they amplify GH release more effectively than either one alone.
Onset and what to expect
Improved sleep quality is usually the first noticeable effect, within the first 1 to 2 weeks. Vivid dreams are commonly reported. Recovery from workouts improves around weeks 2 to 4.
Body composition changes (fat loss, lean mass) take longer, typically 2 to 3 months. CJC-1295 works by increasing your own GH production rather than replacing it, so the effects are more gradual than exogenous HGH but also more physiologically natural.
Side effects
Water retention and flushing are the most common. Some people get a head rush or tingling sensation after injection, especially with the DAC version. Increased hunger can occur since GH stimulates appetite.
The DAC version can cause prolonged GH elevation (the "GH bleed"), which is why many people prefer no-DAC. Joint pain and numbness or tingling in the hands are possible at higher doses. These are signs your GH levels may be running too high.
Storage and reconstitution
Refrigerate after reconstitution at 36 to 46°F. Lyophilized powder can be stored at room temperature. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water and use within 28 days.
CJC-1295 without DAC is sometimes labeled as "Mod GRF 1-29" by suppliers. Same peptide, different name.
